Reading books, watching movies & flying airplanes
I finished The Wish List just now. I can't believe I read a book other than Harry Potter in one day. I feel proud. I wish I could do the same with Terry Pratchett books but oh well.

I finished Lords and Ladies yesterday, btw.

The Wish List was okay. Not much comments though. Liked Meg Finn's character, amused with St. Peter and Beezlebub's friendship (only because it reminded me a bit of Crowley and Aziraphale) and that's it. After Lords and Ladies, you can't really say much about The Wish List. Granny Weatherwax, yayness! I'll probably read A Hatful of Sky next.

Won't be reading another book for the time being since we still have that Chem project to work on. (Which I have no idea how we're going to finish, btw.)

My mum's flight is around 8:30pm I think. She was supposed to leave the house at 4:30. I came home at 5:20. She was still there, doing last-minute stuff. Trust my mum, one of the ultimate crammers, to do nothing less. At least I got to see her before she left. XD

Then before leaving, she said, "The address! Open my emailbox and get me Tita Rita's address!" Tita Rita is her friend whom she's staying at when she gets there. Don't you think her address was the first thing she should've gotten? And to think my brother told me that at 3:30 she was still at the salon having her hair done. XD

Surprisingly, with all the last-minute packing and expected chaos, my mum did not go into Crisis Alert! Mode. She was calm and smiley the whole day. She even woke me up at around 5 in the morning for no reason at all too. (Which was a pleasant surprise as I haven't even started my Poem Analysis at that time. XD) Thank God for weird mothers like mine.

My parents didn't allow me to watch The Corpse Bride today because according to my mum, she didn't want to get on the plane knowing that her only daughter is not yet home at that time of the night. It's such a fluffy mushy reason that I have no means of arguing my way into it. ARG.

My dad did promise to watch the movie with me when he gets home. Just a few more agonizing days till kingdom come.

Still sorry I couldn't be there.
